I am a girl on a lifelong mission to collect languages like they’re Pokémon. I’ll happily learn five new verbs in Spanish before breakfast, only to accidentally answer my French colleague in Italian and my Italian friend in German. Duolingo sends me passive-aggressive notifications, and honestly? I’m pretty sure the little green owl is plotting my demise. But hey, at least I can order wine in seven different dialects!
